Brady was born and raised in Calgary, AB. Learning to ski at the young age of just 18 months, Brady practically grew up on the slopes of the Alberta mountains with both his parents working in the ski industry for most of his life, his father Chris as a ski coach and mother Maureen working at ski areas in the Calgary area.

Getting his start in alpine racing with the Calgary Alpine Racing Club, Brady always had a love for skiing in and out of the gates, spending a lot of his time chasing powder and hitting jumps in the terrain parks.

Ski Cross seemed the perfect fit and when the opportunity presented itself to try out for the Canadian Ski Cross Team in 2008, Brady jumped at the chance and made the decision to turn down a spot on the Alpine World Cup and paid his own way onto the Ski Cross World Cup.

After battling a string of injuries, including a broken leg the day before the race at the Vancouver Olympics, Brady had a breakthrough season in 2011/12 winning 2 World Cup Gold’s and finishing ranked 2nd in the world.

With his sights now squarely set on Sochi, Brady is aiming to be the first Canadian male to take home an overall crystal globe for Ski Cross in 2013.
